Founded in 1978 by Frankie and Emma Kubin, carried forward by their son Kent, and run today by their grandson Kolton, the shop has always operated on one principle: fix what needs fixing, charge a fair price, never oversell.
Where It Started
Frankie and Emma Kubin opened the doors on South College Avenue in 1978 with a simple belief: people deserve to know exactly what is wrong with their car and exactly what it will cost to fix it. No hidden fees. No unnecessary repairs. No runaround.
That belief became the foundation of a shop that would outlast trends, competition, and decades of change in the automotive industry. Customers who first walked in as young adults brought their children. Their children now bring their own vehicles.
Their son Kent Kubin came up alongside the shop and carried the standard through the second generation, raising the bar on the technical side as cars got more complex.
Today Kolton Kubin, Kent's son and the third generation, runs the shop. The equipment has been updated. The methods have evolved. The honesty has never changed.

1978
Frankie and Emma Kubin open Kubin Automotive Service on South College Avenue in Bryan, TX. They establish the no-upsell standard that defines the shop to this day.
1990s
Kent Kubin, son of Frankie and Emma, joins the family trade as the second generation. The shop expands its service capabilities and builds a loyal base of repeat customers across Bryan and College Station.
2000s
Computer diagnostics and modern systems become standard. Kubin Automotive invests in updated equipment while maintaining the same family-first service model.
2010s
Fleet service expands as local businesses in the Brazos Valley trust Kubin Automotive for priority commercial vehicle maintenance and repair.
Today
Kolton Kubin, grandson of Frankie and Emma and son of Kent, leads the third generation and carries forward the family tradition of honest, no-upsell service that has defined this shop since 1978.
